1. IDIA
At KRIA LAW, we are deeply committed to harnessing the power of legal expertise to drive social change. We are honored to partner with IDIA an initiative that empowers underprivileged and marginalized communities by cultivating top-quality legal talent from within. Founded by the visionary legal academic, the late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer, IDIA's mission is powered by the passion and dedication of over 600 student volunteers across India. Our collaboration with IDIA represents our shared belief in legal excellence as a tool for societal transformation. By contributing our expertise, we aim to support and amplify IDIA’s efforts in creating a more equitable society—one lawyer, one community at a time.
2. Academic Outreach
Bhutan - Externship
Our commitment to fostering legal excellence and nurturing emerging talent has transcended across borders. As part of our academic outreach initiative, we proudly host an externship program for a Bhutanese law graduate from Bhutan Law University for 3 months. Over the course of three months, the selected candidate works alongside our experienced team, gaining practical insights into the legal profession while actively contributing to our work.
We take care of all internship arrangements—from accommodation to daily logistics—ensuring a seamless and enriching experience. Through this program, we not only empower the next generation of legal professionals but also strengthen the bonds within our global legal community.
3. IIT MADRAS | KRIATIVE AWARDS
IITMIC-KRIA'tive Innovation Awards is our remarkable collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) focused on recognizing young innovators. The awards celebrate exceptional innovations in both technology and social impact, highlighting groundbreaking work by emerging talent. Organized by the IIT Madras Incubation Cell (IITMIC) and KRIA Law, the IITMIC-KRIA'tive Innovation Awards aim to inspire and encourage the next generation of changemakers. By honoring creativity and innovation in diverse fields, we hope to foster an ecosystem that empowers young minds to drive forward-thinking solutions for a brighter future.
